January 9, 2021

The things that make Mallorca so attractive for holidaymakers who travel to the largest island in the Balearic Islands year after year is the same as for Celebrities. Some say it is the variety of landscapes that ranges from pebbly or sandy bays on the turquoise-blue Mediterranean Sea to craggy cliffs and plains with orange and olive groves. It is because of the intoxicating lifestyle which mixes cultural activities, excellent restaurants and a fantastic climate.

A short flight from anywhere in Europe

An important factor that makes Mallorca one of the most popular holiday destination for Celebrities is undoubtedly the short flight time. Thus, it is just the length of an excessively long film that separates the travel enthusiastic Celebrity from their holiday destination. In addition, almost every airport in Europe has a holiday plane take off for a direct flight to Palma de Mallorca at least once a day. For the more high profile celebrities there is of course Private Jet Terminal at Palma de Mallorca Airport. It offers Travelers to arrive around thirty minutes before take-off, possibly even fifteen minutes as check-in takes a few minutes.

Climate

The fabulous connection to Europe is one reason for Mallorca’s popularity. Another decisive factor, is the Climate.. If you want to swap the the uncomfortable Northern European autumn, winter and sometimes also rainy spring and summer months for sun and warmer temperatures, the choice almost inevitably falls on the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”. Thanks to its moderate subtropical climate, anyone visiting can already enjoy temperatures of up to 18 degrees from March, with average highs of up to 31 degrees in July and August and with a mild end of the year with up to 24 degrees in October and up expect 16 degrees in December.

Mallorca offers something for everyone

The climate ensures that the water temperature in the Mediterranean Sea, the often sung “Bathtub of Europe”, is high with an average of 18 degrees (July, August and September account for a pleasant 24 degrees). On the beaches around Sollér where the warm waves land, there is a choice between long, densely populated beaches that have everything, and lonely, dreamy bays, which are found on the east coast and in the south-east and tend to offer peace and individuality.

Mallorca is also a worthwhile travel destination for holidaymakers who want to actively relax on hiking or trekking tours. On shorter hikes in the numerous nature parks, you can marvel at the original Mallorcan flora and fauna. In the northeast, the wild and romantic landscape is convincing. There the vacationers will find the Serra de Tramuntana, the mountain range in the north-west of the island, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.

Even travellers who want to devote themselves exclusively to improving their handicaps during their holiday will get their money’s worth on Mallorca, which has four 9-hole and 19 golf courses with 18 holes. Because what could be nicer for beginners and advanced skiers than to play and train on a green embedded in the most beautiful landscape?
